How do you find what a set is closed under?

needmathhelp  Apr 6, 2017

If a mathematical operation  performed on any members of the set returns another member of that set, the set is said to be "closed" under that operation.

For instance......the set of real numbers is closed under addition because the sum of any number of real numbers always produces another real number.
