How about

$$\frac{1}{3}=\frac{3(8-7)(6-5)(4-2-1)}{9}$$

Hmm don't know what you mean exactly by that, but it reminds me of this:

summation

Basically using an infinite series this pattern will converge to 1/3 as n→∞.

Closest thing I could think of to your question.
