I think your question is really abot how to calculate ac and ab. Use Pythagoras

a^2+b^2=c^2

in this case sides c is the diagonal and side b is the short side and a is longer side.

So by using pythagoras theorem to get to B to D or C to A.

I would do 30² + 40²= 900 + 1600 = √2500

So she ran

=50+50+30+30

=160
