How many 5/16 are in 1 7/8? And can you show that in a Multiplication question and a Division question

so basically, you are asking: 5/16 x 8/15 (once it is simplified and all, sry I couldn't give you a more detailed answer.)

 

So we multiply 8 and 5 to get 40 and 16 and 15 to get 240 and now it is 40/240.

 

40/240 needs to be turned into into a decimal too, and we can multiply 240 with 5 to get 1000 as our "power of ten".

 

At the same time, 40 needs to be multiplied with 5 as well, so we get 200/1000, which in decimal is 0.200.

 

We then simplify it to 0.2 and that is the answer!!!
