I'll not explain.
Just give you an example.
1/8 = .125
.125 * 100% = 12.5%

An other one
13/63 = .20635
.20635 * 100% = 20.635%
Now, you got it?

If you want to change the denominator to 100 you have to do the rule of three!
1 =
x 8...100
Supposed we have this. Take the 100, multiplicate it whit the 1. Now you will have 100/8 = x
Do the division. You'll have the numerator to put on the denominator 100!
12.5/100
It's the same thing, just represent differently!
