To divide fractions, lets use (1/2) and (5/6) for example
(1/2)/(5/6) is the sentence
Lets swap (5/6) to (6/5) and multiply instead of divide
(1/2)*(6/5) Multiply Numerators
1*6=6
Now denominators
2*5=10
6/10=3/5
Use a calc to check work
$${\frac{\left({\frac{{\mathtt{1}}}{{\mathtt{2}}}}\right)}{\left({\frac{{\mathtt{5}}}{{\mathtt{6}}}}\right)}} = {\frac{{\mathtt{3}}}{{\mathtt{5}}}} = {\mathtt{0.6}}$$

Okay, well I learned how to divide fractions as 5/7 and then you divide it by 8/16. You need to switch the 8/16 to 16/8 and just multiply the numbers straight across. Not sure if that helps, but that's how I divide fractions
I saw that you had finished your answer before I posted mine and I felt a little sheepish :P
Yeah, I decided that I would just get an account instead of being anonymous
