What are you measuring from 1895 to 2014? What are 46.8 and 49.2 supposed to be? If you want the rate of change in the last two figures, then it is:

49.2/46.8=5.1282% change in 119 years. Or .042% change per year over 119 years. To project this 36 years from 2014 to 2050: 1.00042^36 X 49.2=49.95 projected change in 2050.
