3-6+2x7=11

STEPS:........................................1................2.........................3..............................4

Order of operations- PEMDAS (Parenthes, Exponents, Multiplication & Division, Addition & Subtraction)

Always go left to right, and if you see Division before Multiplication or Subtraction before Addition, they count as the same step, so you should still do it left to right,

No Parentheses or Exponents...

Multiplication! 3-6+2x7 becomes 3-6+14

No more multiplication or division...

Subtraction! 3-6+14 becomes  -3+14

Addition! -3+14 becomes 11!

There we go! If you have any more questions let me know, and there are lots of helpful video tutorials on YouTube :)

Thanks Mikkey, you have given an excellent answer :)

Hi Silstar,

Don't worry, BODMAS is exactly the same as PEDMAS and PEMDAS

brackets = parentheses    :)

of ('power of' or 'order') = exponents
