Aurora hit a baseball with an initial velocity of 70 feet per second at an angle of 30° with the horizontal. The ball hit her bat when the ball was 3 feet above the ground.

(a)    No one interferes with the ball. How long does it take the ball to hit the ground? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth of a second. Show all your work.

(b)    How far did the ball travel horizontally? Use your answer from Part (a) in your calculations. Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a foot. Show all your work.

For a, I got 2.27

For b, I got 137.62

Is this right?

Thank you

Hey there, Mnkmnk!

So I'm not quite sure if this can help, but here it is: https://web2.0calc.com/questions/math_83560.

And I also understand that I'm not @CPhill, so apologies about that.

Hope this helped! :)

( ゚д゚)つ Bye

This is the exact question I tried to work through with you and you refused to play the game.

You just said you had the answers and reposted it again.

If you know how to do it then you do not need people here running around after you.

If you do not know how to do it then you should work with people when they attempt to lead you through it.

I had the answers and I tried was trying to make sure they were correct and I didn't realize that you were going to continue to work with me on it so I'm sorry.

I didn't realize that I wasn't allowed to repost it. I didn't know if I did the question right.

"Oh No!! You have nothing to apologize for. It was very helpful!! Thank you for your help!!!" - I wasn't trying to be mean. I was trying to say that Talia didn't have anything to apologize for and I was just trying to say thank you. I realized that "On No" could be interpreted as I did not want to answer the question but I didn't mean that! I'm sorry if that's what you thought I meant.

I didn't know you were going to get back to me. I'm really sorry.

Yes I know you were not trying to be mean. I am well aware of that.

But you ignored the questions that I asked you and just reposted,  That was downright rude.

I accuse you of rudeness, not meaness.  I see no evidence that you are seriously trying to learn.

If you were trying to learn you would have responded to my questions.

This is my response that you chose to ignore.

I am extremely sorry. I had no intention of being rude. I thought you asked me to show you my answer that I worked out. I didn't realize that you were asking me to explain how I got it. I explained how I got my answer on the other question.

Thak you for your time.

Ok I have commented on the other thread.

I accept your apology but I do not think that you actually read my response at all.

You certainly have not attempted to answer any of my questions.
