This answer assumes you mean (5/6) x
5/6 x = 8/5 Multiply both sides by 6/5
6/5 (5/6) x = (6/5)8/5 Simplify
x = 48/25 = 1 23/25
\(5/6x=8/5\\ 25=48x\\ \frac{25}{48}=x\)
Steps:
This answer assumes you mean (5/6) x

Yes certainly, I can do that for you:)
5/6x=8/5 is the question'
\(\frac{5}{6}x=\frac{8}{5}\\ \frac{5x}{6}=\frac{8}{5}\\ \)
There are a number of ways to tackle this but I think the easiest way is to multiply BOTH sides by the lowest commone denominator. Which is 30. If you do that then all the fractions will disappear. :)
\(\begin{align}\frac{5x}{6}\times 30&=\frac{8}{5} \times 30\\ \frac{5x}{\not{6}^1}\times \not{30}^5&=\frac{8}{\not{5}^1} \times \not{30}^6\\ 5x\times 5 &= 8 \times 6\\ 25x&=48\\ x&=\frac{48}{25}\\ x&=1\frac{23}{25}\\ \end{align}\)
