What is the sum of all integer values of x such that 3/x is greater than 1/3 and less than 3/4?
1/3 < 3/x < 3/4
We have that
1/3 < 3/x and 3/x < 3/4
cross - multiply
x < 9 and 12 < 3x divide both sides by 3
4 < x
So....the integer solutions are 5, 6, 7, 8
And their sum is 26 !!!!
