1k+5+4-6k 

i went back and combined the like terms and did what i was suppose to do i did 1k +-6k than i got -5 than i did 5+4 and i got 9 but somebody told me on here it was wrong so i double check and earesed it and tried again and i got the same answer so i am just very confused???????indecision

1k+5+4-6k : 1k-6k=-5k, 5+4=9, so you have: -5k + 9, or better: 9 - 5k, which is the correct answer.

-5k + 9

 

I think you just left out "k" in your original answer......
