What is the only difference between the properties of equality and the properties of inequality?
The properties on equality say that you can/must ________________
The properties of inequality say the same thing - EXCEPT: _____________
The only thing I can imagine they are after is that when you divide or multiply both sides of an inequality by a negative number
you flip the direction of the inequality sign whereas an equality remains unchanged.
The wording they want must come straight from your textbook or class notes and I don't have either.
