Triangle ABC has circumcenter O. If AB=10 and [OAB=30]  find the circumradius of triangle ABC.

[brackets] mean the area

???

How do I solve this?
I've already drawn it out and assumed it was a scalene triangle.

How do I find the radius to find the circumference?
(I'd like hints, not answers, please.)

Thank you! So the radius according to the pythagorean theorem is sqrt61. x2xpi=2sqrt61*pi

AHA!

The radius of the circle is the circumradius. It is called a circumradius because the triangle insribed in the circle has a circumcenter O and O is also the center of the circle

From your diagram.....OB  = OA  is the circumradius.....does that help   ????

Why are you assuming only girls/cheaters? Boys are cheaters too! Don't discriminate.!

Hi Guest,

No one thinks that you are cheating.

We need more honest people like you on this forum.

Why don't you join up and get yourself known to people.

Its free and there are some benefits, like being able to send private messages and also being able to track your questions more easily.

Here is a reasonably accurate pic, (unless I have done something super stupid)

If you know a bit of trig it should be easy for you to work out the needed radius now.
