Which property of equality would you use to solve the equation?

The mulitplication property of equality, which holds that when you have a given equation, say :

 

a/5 + 6 = b/5 + 3,  multiplying on both sides by the same constant will provide the same result as the original equation, thus making it the multiplication property of equality. 

 

In the case of this problem, you would multiply by 5 on both sides, to get W = -50, and there's your answer!
