So first, we find the probability that the highly demented dice will land on a 3. You will get 0.12.

If you roll the dice once, the probability of landing on a 3 or 4 is 0.12 + 0.21 = 0.33.

Next up,

0.33 = 33/100.

33/100 * 300 == 99

If you want to estimate, then you round 0.33 to 1/3, and 1/3 * 300 is easily 100.

For estimation I'd already say Face 3 is around a 0.1 probability because 0.13+0.05 is around 0.2, 0.21 is around 0.19 which is around 0.2, and 0.3 is 0.3. Adding we get 0.9 and 1-0.9=0.1

0.1+0.2=0.3 and 300×0.3=90.

Therefore I'd estimate around 80-100 times.

You are very welcome!

The sum of the probabilities = 1

So

p(3)   = 1 - .13 - .05 - .21 - .19 - .3   =  .12

So

P ( 3 or 4)    =  [ .12 + .21 ]  =  .33  =   1/3

So...

.1/3 * 300   =  100 times
