Actually, Guest, it depends on what you are finding percentage from!

 

If you want to change a fraction to a percentage, just solve it (by dividing the numerator by the denominator), move the decimal point 2 spots to the right, and add a percentage symbol.

 

Ex.

 

3/5=0.8=80%

 

For decimals, do the last two steps you did with fractions by moving the decimal point two spots to the right and adding a percentage symbol.

 

Ex.

 

0.638=63.8%

 

Just a tip, remember that percentages can be over 100%!
