Let xº be an angle measure. Let y1º be the measure of a complement of the angle, and let y2º be the measure of a supplement of the angle.

a. Write equations for y1 as a function of x, and for y2 as a function of x. What is the domain of each function?

For the complement  .....   y1  = 90 - x    the domain for x =  (0, 90)    [if we assume that y1 has some measure > 0, that is ]

For the supplement   ....    y2  = 180 - x   the domain for x =  (0, 180 )    [if we assume that y2 has some measure > 0, that is ]

cool cool cool
