PLease solve the following problem if you have time. (solve for x)

4(-x - 3) = 3x + 5(x - 2)

I am unsure of my answer. Let me know what you get, but I got the following:

1 and 5/6 = x

4(-x - 3) = 3x + 5(x - 2)

\(4(-x-3)=3x+5(x-2)\)

\(-4x-12=3x+5x-10\)

With sign change to the right side

\(-4x-3x-5x=-10+12\)              Calculation

\(-12x=2\)                                                  Calculation

\(x=-\frac{1}{6}\)

Huh. That's not at all what I got. If I have time, I'll do the problem again, otherwise I'll just ask my teacher tomorrow, I guess.
