During a hot summer day,Mr.Singh sold 60 watermelons. On Monday he sold x watermelons. On Tuesday he sold twice as many watermelons than he sold on Monday. On Wednesday he sold half of the number of watermelons he sold on Monday. On Thursday Mr.Singh sold 18 watermelons. On Friday he sold four more than twice the amount he sold on Monday and Tuesday combined. How many watermelons did he sell on Friday?
Monday: x watermelons
Tuesday: 2x watermelons
Wednesday: 1/2x
Thursday: 18
Friday: 4+2(x+2x)=2(3x)=6x+4
x+2x+1/2x+18+6x+4=60, 9 1/2x=38, 19/2x=38, x=38*2/19, x=2*2=4.
So, 6(4)+4=24+4=28 watermelons.
Pungce, why did you not respond to my question I asked on your last post?
I thought that was very rude.
You did not give Dimitristhym any feedback either. That was also rude. If you did not understand his answer, or it was too complicated or badly presented to follow, or if you thought it was wrong then you should have said so. You should not just ignore people!
