Enter the amplitude of the function f(x) .

 

f(x)=−2sin(3x)−1     The amplitude is 2 ? or negatitve -2 im not 100% sure

 

 

3) What is the period of the function f(x) shown in the graph?

  i think the period would be pi

First one

 

2.5   ...Correct !!!

 

Second one

 

The amplitude is the absolute value   of - 2   =  l -2 l =   2

 

[ The "minus" just flips the graph over the x axis .....the amplitude is not affected ]

 

 

Third one

 

"Pi"  is correct...!!!

 

Speaking of "pi".....that just made me hungry for dessert...!!!!
