If f(x) is a polynomial of degree 3, and g(x) is a polynomial of degree 5, then what is the degree of polynomial 2f(x) + 4g(x)?

Thanks!

Multiplying each by a constant does nothing to the degree

The degree  of these two added polynomials will be the degree of the highest one..i.e., 5th degree
