if rooms were evenly split among the decks of the titanic how many would be on each floor

just compare it to a simpler question.

such as

8 people evenly spread over 2 floors. How many on each floor.  You can actually draw the people on the floors if you want.

 

Now work how the numbers go together to give that answer.

 

Now do it for the harder question.
