A contractor is looking at plans for building a storage shed. The side of the building on the plane is 8in long. If the scale factor between the plans and the actual size is 1:12, how long should the actual wall be?

A contractor is looking at plans for building a storage shed. The side of the building on the plane is 8in long. If the scale factor between the plans and the actual size is 1:12, how long should the actual wall be? 

 

Since the scale is 1:12, then every inch on the plan translates to a foot on the structure.  So, 8 feet
