In the product of (2x - 3y + 1) and (3x + 2y +4) what is the coefficient of the xy - term?

You need to expand the brackets and then the number before xy is the coefficient.
so it would be

6x2+4xy+8x-9xy-6y2-12y+3x+2y+4

The xy would simplify to

-5xy

so the coefficient of xy is -5

hope this helps, sry the reply is so late
