Is -0 a thing

Of what I know am in 9th grade there is no such thing as "-0"

Usually when I have seen this notation used it means as a variable APPROACHES zero from the negative side.

im not trying to down what you said ElectricPavlov, but I think the person was meaning if there is such thing as a -0 not if there are other things this number could mean with a negative sign in front of it

-0  =  +0  =  0

in the same way that "Robert", "Bob", and "Bobby" can refer to the same person.
