Jonathan is trying to solve the following word problem: Katie had made 7*(9/6) pies. She and her family ate 70% of the pies. How many pies are left? (Round it to the nearest whole number unless it already is one)

7 x 9/6 x 3/10 = 63/6 x 3/10 = 189/60 = 3 9/60 = 3 3/20

I know... you bake 11 pies and secretly eat half of one, and you tell everyone that you only made 10 1/2 to start with!
