Sketch a sinusoidal graph with amplitude 2, period 2, and equation of axis y=-4.  Sketch at least 2 cycles.

The equation of axis is max+min/2 and is the phase shift of the graph. And is the midway of the graph.

Thanks so much in advance

P.S sorry if I'm being annoying.

We have  the form   y  = Asin [Bx + C] + D

A  = the amplitude  = 2

D is the midline  = -4

We can find B  thusly

period  =   regular period / B  .... so.....  2  =  2pi / B →    B =  2pi/ 2  =  pi

So we have

y =  2sin [ pi*x ] - 4

We have no shift so "C"  = 0

I haven't heard of the equation  of the axis before.....but I assume that we have  x = 0   and y = -4

Here's the graph : https://www.desmos.com/calculator/4ijjishjps
