Latex Question

Is there a way to do latex without opening the latex box?

 

I love the Latex box but sometimes it gets on my nerves... 

 

So like a symbol perhaps, like other websites, like $$ but which one does web20calc have?

 

I'm guessing that web20calc has one but which character/symbol is it?
