Find the equation whose graph is shown below.  Write your answer in standard form.

  (Standard form is $Ax+By = C$, where $A$ is positive, and $A$, $B$, and $C$ are integers with greatest common divisor $1$.)

The equation of this line in the form y = mx + b is y = (1/2)x + 2, so we can do:

2y = x + 4

-x + 2y = 4

Answer: -x + 2y = 4

Since A is positive we can just multiply DS2011's  answer through by -1

x - 2y =  -4

Oh yes I did not see that A had to be positive.
