A salesperson earns a commission based on the number and type of vehicle sold. A person selling 6 cars and 3 trucks earns $4,800. A person selling 8 cars and 1 truck earns $4,600. How much does a salesperson earn for selling 2 cars and 3 trucks?

4800 divide by 3=1600 (2 cars 1 truck)

4600-1600=3000 (6 cars)

3000 divide by 3=1000 (2 cars)

1000×2=2000 (4 cars)

4800-2000=2800 (2 cars 3 trucks)

I am really impressed by your logic JonesDaBoi

I thought I might just try to do it by conventional algebra.

Find2C+3T6C+3T=48002C+1T=16002C=16001T(1)8C+1T=46001T=46008C(2)$sub$(2)into(1)2C=1600(46008C)2C=16004600+8C6C=3000C=5002C=1000$subbackinto(1)$1000=16001T1T=6003T=18002C+3T=1000+1800=2800

so 2 cars and 3 Trucks are $2800

you know JonesDaBoi I like your solution better.   If I could give you more points I would
