Lines l and m are perpendicular with point of intersection P. Can anyone help me to explain this and give a complete answer? I'm confused with this problem for my Geometry class.
I do not agree with Noah.
If you start with a point in the upper-right quadrant and rotate this point 180o, this point will end in the lower-left quadrant.
However, if you reflect the original point over the line m, it will end in the upper-left quadrant.
If you picture a graphing plane with the original point being (5,2), rotating this point 180o, it would end at (-5.-2).
If you reflect (5,2) in the y-axis, it would end at (-5,2).
