They also want to see all steps...

\({x={{13,4^5* \sqrt265} \over (12,8)(54,6)}}\)

 

They get x=10, I get x=3,4...please help...thank you all kindly..

Is that really 13.55   in the numerator??    Using a calculator ,    I get x = 10063.39

Well   x does not equal 10            for       (13.4)5 * sqrt(265)  / (12.8 * 54.6)  

  it equals 10063.39

Juriemagic,

These questions are not making sense. 

I am wondering if you are interpreting them incorrectly.

If possible, could you please post a picture of the actual question?   Like maybe a screenshot. Or a photo.

 

Also, it might help to know what country you are in as symbols can mean different things in different countries.

The question papers I had belonged to my student, he had in the meantime taken them back to go through them after our classes. so yes, sorry I cannot take a pic of that sum...I will contact him and ask for the papers, hopefully he still has them...I will then send...thank you...smiley
