I'm quite confused on this one and I need someone to explain this. Is Willow Street also perpendicular to Main Street?
Main Street is parallel to Park Street. Park Street is parallel to Elm Street. Elm is perpendicular to Willow. How does Willow compare to Main?
Main Street
----------------l-----------------
Park Street
----------------l-----------------
Elm Street
----------------l-----------------
Willow Street
I know this a pretty rough diagram, but each color correspondes to its street name Red is Main Street Green is Park Street Blue is Elm Street and Black is Willow Street. The vertical line is meant to go straight up and down though each of the streets. Can you tell from this diagram how willow and Main compare?
*Hint if you still don't know, Willow and Main meet at a 90 degree angle.
I think I get it now... If Elm Street is parallel to both Main Street and Park Street while Willow Street is perpendicular to Elm Street that would mean Willow Street is also perpendicular to Main Street as well for Park Street. Thanks for the diagram that makes things clear now.
