Garrett and Crystal want to split a bag of candy, and decide to use the divider-chooser method. The bag contains 100 Snickers, 100 Milky Ways, and 100 Reese's, which Garrett values at $1, $4, and $2 respectively.

If Garrett is the divider, find a possible division that is consistent with his value system.

In this division, one half contains:

 Snickers?
 Milky Ways?
 Reese's?

Total value   $7       any combo that totals 3.50 is a 'fair' 1/2

50 Snickers = .50

50 MW =2.0

50 R =  1.0                Total = 3.50

There are a 'buh-jillion' ways to split this to obtain 3.50 value....this is just ONE!

Another example:

100 S = 1.0

50 MW = 2.0

25 R = .50          Total 3.50
