log(ab) = log(a) + log(b)

log(a/b) = log(a) - log(b)

ln(a) = log(a)/log(e) where ln(e) = 1

so first find

log(8.66×10⁻⁷ / 3.61×10⁻¹⁵) = (log(8.66) + (-7)) - (log(3.61) + (-15)) =

0.38 + (15-7) = 8.38

Now we convert to natural log ln by finding

8.38 / log(e) = 19.30

I'm sorry Rom but I only half understand what you are doing.
I'm very tired, maybe that is why.

i'd just work out the number first

8.61/3.61 = 2.385041551 that's how many places my calculator gives.

10 -7 x 10 -15 = 10 -22

ln ( 2.385041551 x 10 -22 )

-49.78

I think that's right.
