So I have been strugling with this question for a whole week but I haven't been able to get an answer and I really need help So I'd really appreciate it if y'all could help with this:

The population of a region is modelled by the function  where P(t) is the population in thousands and t is the time in years since the year 1998.
a) What was the population in 1998?
b) What will be the population in 2012?
c) In what year will the population be at least 500 000? Explain your answer.

Sorry , Supergirl, but there's no way to answer this unless we know what function we are dealing with.

Supergirl, there is a function for this question; it didn’t copy because it displays graphically.

Look again. It will look something like this P(t)= 0.4t2+12t+65  or P(t)= 0.4t^2+12t+65

You will have to type it into your post.
