If a grocery store marks up cereal 30%, what is the retail price of a large box of cereal that costs the store $3.90?
Thanks CPhill
$3.90-30% =2.73
30% of 3.90 is 1.17
3.90-1.17=2.73
Anonymous.....the store would go broke if they sold it for less than they bought it...!!!!!
$3.90 (1.30) = $ 5.07
No prob, dude !!!!
Could you help me with my other one?
Use two unit multipliers to convert 1000 mm² to square centimeters.

Last month, a 700 g box of cereal was sold at a grocery store for $3.20. However, this month, the cereal manufacturer launched the same cereal in a 550 g box, which is being sold at $2.70. By what percent did the unit rate change?
