One day at a supermarket, 258 fruits were sold in the morning, and 5/6 of the number of fruits sold in the morning were sold in the afternoon. The next day, the number of fruits sold in the afternoon increased by 20% compared to the number of fruits sold in the afternoon the previous day. Find the total number of fruits sold in the afternoon the next day.

In the first afternoon

5/6 of 258 = 5/6×258=215 were sold

The second afternoon

20% more were sold

20% × 215= 20/100 × 215=1/5×215 = 43

215+43= 258

258 fruit sold 2nd afternoon.

you better check my calculations with a calc :)
