loricia works at a baking shop. She sold 3/5 cakes in the morning and 2/3 from what is left in the afternoon. What would be the fraction number of the cakes that she sold in the afternoon.

Hi anonymous
I think that you mean she sold 3/5 of all her cakes in the morning and 2/3 of the cakes that were left in the afternoon.

If she sold 3/5 in the morning, she must of had 2/5 left

She sold 2/3 of the 2/5 in the afternoon

that's 2/3 * 2/5 of the original amount = 4/15 of the original number of cakes
