6 4/5 - 2 1/4 = 34/5 - 9/4 (Since 6 = 6 * 1 = 6 * 5/5 = 30/5 => 6 4/5 = 34/5 and similarly for 2 1/4)
Now, to make the substraction we want to make sure that the denominators of both fractions are equal.
If we multiply 5 by 4 we get 20 and if we multiply 4 by 5 we also get 20.
Now lets first look at 34/5, if we are allowed to multiply the nominator and denominator with the same number to have it be the same number,

So (34*4)/(5*4) = 136/20

Then for 9/4 we have (9*5)/(4*5) = 45/20

Then 6 4/5 - 2 1/4 = 34/5 - 9/4 = 136/20-45/20 = 91/20
