Let we consider it as 45-90-45 triangle having area of 36 sq.cm
so for equilateral triangle inscribed in it now.....we alrdy hve 45 -45 as two equal angles
so make 90 as 45 degree
i.e half of the triangle we assumed
therefore
area of equiltrl trianle will be= 1/2 of area of triangle
=1/2 x 36
=18 sq.cm
Ans. 18 sq.cm ( as they hve not told u about triangle angles....so we assumed simple 45-45-90 angle triangle )
