you do it by changing 10 to the power of a negative number to 1 over 10 to that number (without negative sign) then do ten to that power so the answer is 1 over 10 to the power of x
example : 10 to the power of negative 5 = 1 over 10 to the power of 5 which equals 1 over 100000
