2min = 120 sec, and his speed is 8/11 words per sec therfore 

words written is 2 min = 8/11 *  120  

= 960/11 =  87.27 thus he can write 87.27 in 2min

Joe can type 11 words in 8 seconds. At this rate, how many words can he type in two minutes?

 

11/8=1.375 words per second that Joe can type. But 2minutes X 60=120 seconds,

So in 120 seconds Joe can type=120 X 1.375=165 words in 2 minutes, or 165/2=82.5 words per minute!!!. That makes Joe very fast typist!!.
