At a county fair, an adult ticket sold for $6.00, a senior citizen’s ticket for $4.50, and a child’s ticket for $2.00. On Friday, the number of adults and senior citizen’s tickets sold was 5 more than the number of children’s tickets sold. The number of adult tickets sold was 5 more than three times the number of senior citizen’s tickets sold. Total receipts from the ticket sales were $335.00. How many children’s tickets were sold?

a: adult ticket
s: senior citizen’s ticket
c: child’s ticket

given:
a=6
s=4.5
c=2

equations:
(a+s)=c+5
a=5+3*s
a+s+c=335
[input]solve( (a+s)=c+5, a=5+3*s, a+s+c=335 )[/input]
= {a=128.75, s=41.25, c=165}

Math is my favorite subject. I do great in it. I want to be a math teacher when i grow up!!!! I think all math is is a bunch of petterns and ways of learning things. I want to come to your fair to learn more about math so i can get an even better grade in math class. School grades always come first.[Exspecially math] I really want to attend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
