Volume of 8 steel balls =(4 π r^3)/3≈4.18879  x 8 =33.51032 cubic inches.

33.51032 =(4 π r^3)/3

r^3 =[33.51032 /(4/3*  π)

r^3 = 8

r = 8^(1/3)

r = 2 inches - the radius of big steel ball
