I need review on this plz help! I forgot what is mean, median, mode, and range!
The mean is the average obtained by adding all the values and dividing the result by the number of values.
The median is the middle value when they are sorted in order of size.
The mode is the most common value.
The range is the difference between the largest and the smallest.
.
Corrected 2nd line to say median not mean!! Thanks Anonymous4338.

Good explanation, Alan. Here is an example for you, TitaniumRome.
If the numbers were 4,5,3,5,4,7,8,1,4, and 10,
then the mean would be (4+5+3+5+4+7+8+1+4+10)/2=25.5.
The median (not mean as Alan accidentally said) would be...
1,3,4,4,4,5,5,7,8,10
4.5 since when crossing out numbers on each side you get 4 and 5, which the average of is 4.5.
The mode is 4 because it appears 3 times, more frequent than any other number.
The range is 9 because the maximum (10) minus he minimum (1) is 9.
Hope this helped!
