ONLY C please

for this question i am supposed to use the previous equation

i have tried subbing in 100 into n then subtract the answer i have from subbing in 1 or 2 but my answer wasnt even close

please help and explain thank you

Note, YEEEEEET.....we are summing  99 terms   [ 100 - 2] + 1  = 99

 

So....

 

(1/6) (99) ( 2*(99)^2 + 9*(99) + 13)    =    338,349

 

Check this against    sum (r + 1)^2  from r = 1 to r = 99  = 338,349
