Total the fruits . . .

13 + 27 + 14 + 26 = 80

Divide each by the total to obtain each fruits fractional portion and the probability of a random student selecting that fruit as a favorite.

Bananas= 13/80 = 16.25%

Apples = 27/80 = 33.75%

Pears = 14/80 = 17.50%

Grapes = 26/80 = 32.50

----------

Lancelotlionk’s favorite fruit is a Banana.  Mine is Liberace.

Hi Nauseated,

Which variety of Liberace do you like best.

I think the ivories are pretty cool :)

The ivories are cool; however, the ebonies add a sharp flavor to the chopsticks. Amazingly enough, they flatten it out a little, too. :)
