Who for example 5 mod 32 is calculated? Thank you!

This is a remainder operation. The question isn't stated well, probably from the text as well. And using remainders is a crutch that doesn't finish the solution to the equation. You can tell your teacher that. As the equation should be finished to the decimal point with no reaminder remaining to solve. Any way for this operation it would be 5 divided by 32. 32 goes into 5, zero times. So the remainder is 5.   5 -(0*32) = 5. For the operation 32 mod 5 it would be 32 divided by 5. 5 goes into 32, 6 times. Leaving a "reamainder" or "modulo" or "mod" of 2.  32 - (6*5) = 2.

But to fininsh the sulotion to 32 divded by 5. you get not just 6 reamainder 2. But 6.4 As .5 goes into 2, 4 times. Not sure if the extra info helped out to explain it better or not. As I just ran across this site  minutes ago. Good Luck.
